ABOUT US
Bear Creek Campground is a beautiful family-owned campground located in Hedgesville West Virginia.
Our campground is the perfect place for campers who are traveling through the I-81 corridor or if you are looking for that peaceful spot away from it all for your vacation. Open April 1st through the 2nd weekend in November, Bear Creek is able to accommodate tent campers all the way to the largest Motorhomes.
Bear Creek Campground offers beautiful grounds, a large beach area to enjoy the creek, fishing, kayaking and a Natural Lazy River for tubing. We have Full Hook up sites, Water & Electric sites along the creek and plenty of dry tent sites. There is a dump station available onsite as well as pump out services for longer stays. All sites have a fire ring, picnic table and a level gravel pad.

$5.00 PER PERSON – 12 and under FREE
The campground is 87 miles West of Washington DC and centrally located to comfort amenities & Activities:
- 3 miles to Martins Grocery, Gas and convenience stores.
- 5 miles to 3 local distilleries and brewing companies.
- 7 miles to Tomahawk MX
- 7.5 miles to Walmart
- Driving distance from Berkeley Springs WV, Shepherdstown WV and Historic Harpers Ferry WV.

CAMP RULES
For your safety and our sanity.
Must be confined to your campsite. Management reserves the right to ask any person to leave without refund, because of excessive drinking or other objectionable behavior.
All campfires should be in the campfire rings only. DO NOT MOVE the fire rings. All fires should be small and not blazing. Fire rings are NOT trash cans. Firewood is for sale. Do not leave fires unattended and have campfires out by 11:00PM.
Under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Must be 16+ years of age and have a valid West Virginia Fishing License.
One car per site.
We love animals! Leashed pets are welcome unless they are noisy. They must be cleaned up after; doggie bags are placed around the park. Please see map for pet walks. Do not leave your pet tied up unattended.
RV sites must check in after 1:00PM and check out by 12:00PM.
NO FIREARMS, FIRECRACKERS, OR EXPLOSIVES ARE PERMITTED ON THE PREMISES.
11:00PM until 8:00AM. Please be considerate of your neighbors. Kids under 18 must be at your campsite by 11:00PM. No bike riding after dark.
Are permitted but must be turned off by 11:00PM.
No lifeguard provided. Swimming is at your own risk. An adult must supervise any child under 14.
Must be placed in front of your site by 10:00AM for pickup. No trash to be left out overnight. No trash, cans or glass in the fire rings, please.
Will not be tolerated. Parents are responsible for their children’s actions and must assume financial responsibility for any damage or injury caused by them, regardless of age.
All visitors MUST register at the office BEFORE GOING TO YOUR SITE.
RV and vehicle washing is prohibited.
